Khan Academy

Khan Academy is a  nonprofit organization created in 2008 by Salman Khan  with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. Its free resources include practice questions, quizzes, videos, and articles. Offering preschool through early college learning on a range of academic subjects, Khan Academy has been translated into 36 languages, and 18 million people learn on Khan Academy monthly.
Salman Khan (born October 11, 1976) is an American educator and founder of  Khan Academy, has produced over 6,500 video lessons teaching a wide spectrum of academic subjects, originally focusing on mathematics and sciences. He is also the founder of Khan Lab School, a brick-and-mortar school associated with Khan Academy.
Salman Khan, a hedge fund manager, created the first video to help his young cousin with her math. Khan, who has three degrees from MIT and an MBA from Harvard, found he was able to create short, informal lessons very quickly . Encouraged by his own progress and, very soon, a large YouTube following, Khan quit his hedge fund job and started the Academy.
